Russian air defences shoot down 115 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russian air defence forces intercepted and destroyed 115 Ukrainian drones during overnight operations across several regions, the Russian Defence Ministry announced on April 28.

The vast majority of the drones — 102 in total — were brought down over the Bryansk region, located near the Ukrainian border. Nine drones were shot down over the Crimean Peninsula, which Russia illegally annexed in 2014, while two were intercepted over the Kursk region. Additionally, one drone was destroyed over the Belgorod region and another over the waters of the Black Sea, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry.
