Karabakh must not been mentioned International Travel Trade Show severely warns Armenia

Deputy chairman of the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan has written that the organisers of the International Travel Trade Show have urged Armenia not to mention Karabakh in the materials and design of the exhibition stand.

Ashotyan published a copy of the letter of invitation to the ITB Berlin 2023 exhibition, to be held in Berlin on March 7-9, 2023, Caliber.Az reports citing Ashotyan’s message on Facebook.

“In general, advertising of a political nature is strictly prohibited even when it is in the form of art and culture. As stated in section 7g in Our Exhibition Terms and Conditions, this means in detail that no information material of a political nature may be distributed in the form of posters, information material, etc. Our advice refers to the region of Nagorno Karabakh,” the letter of ITB Berlin 2023 exhibition organisers says.
