Karbala command denies security breach reports in southwest Iran

The press service of the “Karbala” Headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that regional reports claiming the presence of anti-government forces and insecurity are inaccurate, according to Iranian media.

The statement noted that “security has been established in all areas under the responsibility of the ‘Karbala’ Headquarters, and actions of potential threats are being closely monitored.”

The headquarters also emphasised that armed forces continue to maintain stability in the region and warned of consequences for any individuals taking actions against the country’s territorial integrity.
