Kazakh president arrives in China for talks with Xi Jinping, AI conference PHOTO

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Shanghai on a working visit at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to the Kazinform news agency.

Talks between the two leaders are scheduled for July 16 and are expected to focus on bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. During his visit, Tokayev will also attend a roundtable meeting with executives from leading Chinese companies.

On July 17, the Kazakh president will speak at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), where global policymakers, business leaders and technology experts are set to discuss the future of artificial intelligence.
