Kazakh president conducts Security Council session
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has presided over a regular meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event considered issues of implementation of the National Security Risk Management Action Plan adopted as part of the implementation of the National Security Strategy for 2021-2025, Anadolu reports with reference to the Kazakh presidential office press service.
The report of the First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar was heard, as well as information from the heads of a number of interested state bodies.
The Head of State emphasized the importance of conducting an objective assessment of current challenges and threats to national security in modern times, as well as developing preventative measures.
Following the meeting, the Security Council passed resolutions aimed at improving the effectiveness of the national security risk management system and safeguarding national interests.
