Kazakh president congratulates Pakistan’s leaders on Independence Day

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Pakistan’s Independence Day.

According to the Kazakh Presidential Press Service, Tokayev’s congratulatory telegrams highlighted Pakistan’s significant achievements in sustainable development and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across a broad range of areas, as well as on international issues.

Tokayev also said he looked forward to Shehbaz Sharif’s forthcoming state visit to Astana, expressing confidence that the visit would give fresh impetus to cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The Kazakh president wished Zardari and Sharif success in their work and the people of Pakistan well-being and prosperity.
