Kazakh president removes deputy defence minister from office PHOTO

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has relieved Burambayev Serik Zhaksigaliyevich of his duties as Deputy Minister of Defence, under the presidential decree.
The decision was announced by the press service of the Kazakh president, Caliber.Az reports.

Serik Burambayev was appointed to the post in August 2025. Prior to assuming the position of deputy defence minister, he served as Commander of the Naval Forces of Kazakhstan.
