Kazakh, Turkish FMs hold talks on Middle East de-escalation

Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister, Yermek Kosherbayev, held a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart,Hakan Fidan, to discuss the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, Zakon.kz reports.
During the call, the ministers explored potential avenues for de-escalation. The Turkish side voiced serious concern over recent military attacks affecting the territories of Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
Both officials reaffirmed their commitment to deepening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The conversation concluded with an agreement to organize a follow-up meeting at the level of the foreign and transport ministries to further coordinate efforts.
