Kazakhstan awaits visit by Mongolian president
Kazakhstan is expecting a visit by President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh next week, plans for which were disclosed during a ceremony where President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received credentials from newly appointed ambassadors of four countries.
Credentials were presented by Ambassador of the State of Kuwait Adel Ahmed Suleiman Al-Ghunaiman, Ambassador of Mongolia Gunaajavyn Batjargal, Ambassador of the Principality of Monaco Mireille Martini, and Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador Yuri Pavel Santacruz Perdomo, Caliber.Az reports, citing Aqorda.
Tokayev congratulated the diplomats on the start of their official missions in the country and expressed confidence that they would contribute to the development of bilateral cooperation.
Earlier, Kazakhstan and Mongolia reaffirmed their commitment to increasing bilateral trade turnover to $500 million.
From January to November 2025, trade turnover between the two countries reached $121.5 million, an increase of 5.5%.
