Kazakhstan denies reports on sending military equipment to Russia

29 September 2022 10:33

Kazakhstan’s Defence Ministry has denied the reports on social networks about sending military equipment to Russia.

The media outlets have recently published a video clip showing a convoy of military equipment allegedly moving from Kazakhstan to Russia.

“The message is not true. This is not the delivery of Kazakh equipment to the Russian Federation,” Gazeta.Ru quotes the ministry as saying this week.

The movement of equipment is associated with the joint exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO). In the Zhambyl and Alma-Ata regions, from September 26 to October 8, 2022, the Interaction-2022, Poisk-2022, and Echelon-2022 exercises are being held.
