Kazakhstan discloses names of its citizens died in Aktau plane crash
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan has revealed the names of the country's citizens who died in the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane near the Kazakh city of Aktau, Caliber.Az reports, citing the ministry's Telegram channel.
The following people died in the crash:
- Tulesinov Sandibek Yekibaevich, born 16.11.1988, a native of the Mangistau region, residing in the city of Zhanaozen;
- Dzhumagulov Bauyrzhan Dzhumabievich, born 30.09.1985, a native of the Mangistau region, residing in the city of Zhanaozen;
- Maksudova Galina Rastambekovna, born 12.01.1978, a native of the Mangistau region, residing in the city of Aktau;
- Shaymerdenova Gauhar Zhumagatovna, born 17.07.1975, a native of Almaty, residing in the city of Astana;
- The son of G. Shaymerdenova, Zhumagat Eldar, born 23.08.2013, residing in the city of Astana;
- Dzhutaeva Salima Amanzholovna, born 21.02.1995, a native of the Kostanay region, residing in the city of Karaganda.
On December 25, an Embraer E-190 aircraft of AZAL, flying from Baku to Grozny, crashed near Aktau in Kazakhstan. As a result of the disaster, 38 people died and 29 were injured. By decree of President Ilham Aliyev, December 26 was declared a day of mourning in Azerbaijan in memory of the victims of the crash.
The Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, and the Minister of Emergency Situations, Kamaladdin Heydarov, visited the Azerbaijani citizens who survived the crash in Kazakhstan. The ministers inquired about the health of the injured who are receiving treatment in Aktau hospitals.
During their conversation with the victims, the ministers clarified the circumstances of the emergency situation on board the aircraft and the possible causes of the crash.
