Kazakhstan disrupts illegal migration network involving truck transport PHOTO

Police in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region have disrupted an illegal migration scheme organised by a citizen of Uzbekistan.

According to authorities, the suspect had arranged the clandestine transport of fellow nationals from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan via Russia.

The migrants were allegedly hidden inside a specially modified compartment in a MAN heavy-duty truck.

A criminal case has been opened against the detained individual, while the seized vehicle has been sent to a specialised impound lot.
