Kazakhstan expects to restore oil exports via CPC

Kazakhstan expects to resume oil exports through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) in the near future, with all consortium facilities ready to restart oil loading as soon as the situation stabilises, according to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy.

The ministry said that restrictions on oil intake into the pipeline system necessitated a controlled adjustment of daily production volumes, resulting in a temporary decline in the country's oil output, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.

The CPC and Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy are continuing close consultations aimed at restoring stable exports of Kazakh oil to global markets as quickly as possible.

Earlier, Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on partner countries to condemn the attacks on tankers anchored at the CPC's marine terminal.

Approximately 80% of Kazakhstan's oil exports are transported through the consortium's pipeline.
