Kazakhstan, ExxonMobil discuss new oil, gas projects

Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and ExxonMobil Upstream President Dan Ammann have discussed joint oil and gas projects and investment cooperation during a meeting in Kazakhstan.

Ammann outlined ExxonMobil's plans for its future operations in Kazakhstan and reaffirmed the company's commitment to maintaining a long-term presence in the country's oil and gas sector, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kazakh media.

The talks focused on the introduction of advanced technologies, improving production efficiency, and expanding geological exploration activities.

ExxonMobil is a participant in Kazakhstan's Tengiz and Kashagan oil field projects, as well as the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) pipeline.
