Kazakhstan eyes higher exports to Georgia as agricultural trade tops $116 million
Trade in agricultural products between Kazakhstan and Georgia exceeded $116 million in 2025, Kazakhstan's Agriculture Minister Aidarbek Saparov said after meeting Georgia's Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili.
The ministers discussed expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, including increasing trade in agricultural products, Caliber.Az reports per Kazakh news agency.
Kazakhstan said it was ready to increase exports to Georgia of grain, flour, vegetable oil, pasta, meat, dairy products and confectionery.
The talks also covered veterinary issues, including supplies of live pigs, pork and cattle.
The relevant authorities in both countries said closer agricultural cooperation would help strengthen food security and create new business opportunities.
