Kazakhstan, Georgia discuss trade and transport cooperation
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yermek Kosherbayev, met with Georgia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Levan Diasamidze, to discuss key issues on the bilateral agenda, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry said.
During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening relations based on longstanding friendship and partnership. Discussions focused on expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as enhancing collaboration in the transport and logistics sector, Caliber.Az reports per Kazakh media.
Particular attention was given to projects under the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, also known as the Middle Corridor, which plays a growing role in connecting Asia and Europe.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides expressed readiness to continue constructive dialogue across the full range of bilateral cooperation.
