19 June 2026 16:06

Kazakhstan and Israel are looking to deepen cooperation in science, education, and innovation, according to a statement released by Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The initiative was discussed during a meeting between Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Israel, Daulet Emberdiev, and Ariel Porat, President of Tel Aviv University, one of Israel’s leading research institutions, Caliber.Az reports.

The talks focused on expanding academic and scientific collaboration between the two countries, including the development of academic exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and stronger partnerships between universities.

Both sides expressed interest in broadening cooperation in several high-tech and research-intensive fields, including artificial intelligence, digital technologies, biomedicine, cybersecurity, water resource management, and the commercialisation of scientific innovations.
