Tokayev: Kazakhstan ready to expand cooperation with Armenia
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his Civil Contract party in the parliamentary elections, saying his country is ready to boost cooperation with Armenia.
According to preliminary assessments by most international observers, the elections were held in accordance with Armenia’s electoral legislation, in an open manner and with proper conditions ensuring citizens’ free expression of will, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
Tokayev wished Pashinyan success in his continued work in the long-term national interests of Armenia.
The Kazakh president said Kazakhstan is ready to continue active cooperation with friendly Armenia across all areas of mutual interest.
He also wished the Armenian people success in the development of their state, as well as peace and prosperity.
