Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia to more than double weekly flights

Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to more than double the number of flights between the two countries, increasing the weekly total from 28 to 70.

According to Kazinform, the agreement on air services was signed in Riyadh by Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport and the President of the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation.

The agreement will significantly expand air connectivity between the two countries and create additional opportunities for passenger travel and business ties.

Airlines also plan to launch regular direct flights between Astana and Riyadh and expand the route network linking Kazakhstan with other cities in Saudi Arabia.
