Kazakhstan tests naval readiness in Caspian Sea PHOTO
The Chief of the General Staff of the Kazakhstan Armed Forces inspected the combat readiness of Kazakhstan’s Navy vessels in the Caspian Sea.
According to Caliber.Az, citing the Kazakh Ministry of Defence, First Deputy Defence Minister Kanysh Abubakirov evaluated the readiness of weapons systems, navigation, and electronic equipment aboard the missile-artillery ship Oral.
Training exercises were conducted on board, with the crew practising responses to live-fire scenarios.
Abubakirov also inspected the anti-sabotage craft Kaysar and special units tasked with protecting Kazakhstan’s Caspian waters and port areas against potential underwater and surface threats.
The Chief of the General Staff additionally reviewed the living and service conditions of the sailors.
