Kazakhstan to reroute oil exports after Druzhba transit adjustment
28 April 2026 09:45
Kazakhstan will reallocate a significant share of its oil exports following changes to the transit schedule along the Druzhba pipeline, the country’s Energy Ministry has stated.
Under the revised plan, 100,000 tons of oil will be redirected to the Port of Ust-Luga, while 160,000 tons will be sent through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium system, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
The ministry noted that the adjustments have been coordinated with shippers, are operational, and will not affect Kazakhstan’s annual oil production targets.
Oil production in Kazakhstan amounted to approximately 99.6 million tons in 2025.
