Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan leaders talk over strategic partnership in Tashkent
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent, the Kazakh presidential press service informed.
Tokayev expressed gratitude to Mirziyoyev for inviting him on a state visit, highlighting the warm reception and traditional hospitality he received.
The leaders discussed the future development of the Kazakhstan–Uzbekistan strategic partnership and alliance.
Key topics included enhancing cooperation in trade, industrial collaboration, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, and water resources, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
The presidents also exchanged views on pressing regional and international issues, signalling a continued commitment to closer bilateral and regional cooperation.
