Kenya’s president begins state visit to Kazakhstan

The President of Kenya, William Ruto, has arrived in Kazakhstan for a state visit at the invitation of the country’s leader, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the presidential administration said.
According to a statement from Aqorda, the visit marks a new phase in bilateral engagement between the two countries.
Talks at the highest level are scheduled for Tuesday, during which the sides are expected to discuss ways to expand cooperation in trade, economic ties, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
The two governments are also expected to sign a series of agreements during the visit.
