A large-scale operation, KISKAÇ-30, targeting the Gülenist Terror Group (FETÖ) has been successfully carried out in Türkiye, resulting in the detention of 459 individuals with suspected ties to the organization.
The operation, which spanned across 66 provinces, was announced by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya through a post on his official X account, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the information provided, the detainees were implicated in various segments of FETÖ’s expansive network. Minister Yerlikaya stated that those arrested were involved in the group’s judicial, student, financial, and police structures, as well as in different factions responsible for promoting the organization’s ideology through social media platforms.
In his statement, Yerlikaya highlighted that some of the suspects had used ByLock, an encrypted communication software that has been closely associated with FETÖ members. ByLock has been identified by Turkish authorities as a key tool for the organization to coordinate and communicate covertly.
The KISKAÇ-30 operation is part of Türkiye's broader efforts to neutralize FETÖ's influence across key institutions, particularly following its involvement in the failed coup attempt of 2016.
