Kocharyan's entire family summoned to prosecutor's office Case of illegally acquired property
On August 1, former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan and his family members were summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office in a case of illegal property.
Singer and Robert Kocharyan's daughter-in-law Sirusho reacted to what is happening, Caliber.Az reports with reference to Armenian media.
"For 5 years in a row they have been trying to create problems for me, to form a negative opinion about me, to hinder my affairs, and these days the situation is the same. I have already formed immunity, I am indifferent to it. I will continue my business and keep the connection with the viewers I have always had," Sirusho wrote on her Instagram page.
To recap, by the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia of July 13, 2023, based on the application of the Prosecutor General's Office, the property of the former president of the republic Robert Kocharyan and seven persons related to him (family members - wife, children, their spouses) was seized.
The Prosecutor General's Office insists on confiscating 20 real estate units in Yerevan in the administrative buildings of Kentron district, two vehicles, shares in 18 foreign and Armenian companies, deposits and securities worth $1.5 million.
