Kremlin calls for diplomatic solution to Iran situation
Russia consistently advocates the use of political and diplomatic tools to resolve the situation surrounding Iran, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told journalists.
“We continue to adhere to our consistent position on the preference for the earliest possible transition to political and diplomatic methods to resolve the situation around Iran, which would bring peace, stability, and predictability to the region,” he said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
The deployment by Volodymyr Zelenskyy of specialists to counter drones in the Middle East is part of bilateral relations between the Ukrainian government and the countries that requested such support.
“In this case, it is rather a matter of bilateral relations between the Kyiv regime and the countries that requested this type of assistance. We are not making any assessments in this regard,” Peskov explained, responding to a question from journalists about the Kremlin’s attitude toward Kyiv sending counter-UAV specialists to the Middle East.
