Kremlin reports surge in global demand for Russian energy
07 April 2026 14:32
Russia is experiencing a significant increase in requests for its energy resources as the Middle East conflict exacerbates global economic and energy uncertainties.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, noted that Moscow is actively engaging with countries including Serbia and Hungary regarding energy supplies, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“Now, as the world has firmly entered a path of economic and energy crisis, the scale of which is growing day by day, the market and market conditions in the energy sector have completely changed. There is a huge number of requests to purchase our energy resources from alternative directions,” Peskov said during a press briefing.
