Kremlin says no separate Putin meeting planned with Armenian deputy PM

29 May 2026 11:24

A separate meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan is not currently scheduled, but contact on the sidelines of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit remains possible, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

“No, a separate meeting is not planned, but if they wish, they can certainly talk on the sidelines,” TASS quotes him as saying.

He added that a meeting between Putin and Grigoryan “cannot be ruled out” if both sides consider it necessary.

Peskov noted that the summit is now beginning in a narrow format, where the most sensitive issues will be discussed.
