Kremlin slams EU's plan to ban Russian cars from entering union

Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said that the ban on entry of cars with Russian license plates into EU countries is absurd.

“Russia will respond in a way that will be beneficial to it. The answer will not necessarily be the same,” Peskov said during a press call, Kommersant reports.

He added that “such absolutely absurd decisions” have a bad impact on Russia’s relations with the European Union and are not favourable for the leadership of these countries.
