Kursk governor allays fears of loud noise over the city

Kursk Governor Roman Starovoyt has explained the loud sounds heard over the city as the work of the Ministry of Defence. 

In a message posted on his Telegram channel, the governor urged residents to remain calm.

"The loud sounds heard over Kursk are the result of the Ministry of Defence’s activities. I kindly ask everyone to stay calm," Starovoyt wrote.

Similar loud sounds were also reported by residents of Sevastopol. Mayor Mikhail Razvozhaev explained that the Black Sea Fleet was conducting training exercises for anti-submarine and sabotage support.
