Kyrgyzstan sends 129 tons of humanitarian aid to Iran Photo

The government of Kyrgyzstan has dispatched 129 tons of humanitarian assistance to Iran following instructions from President Sadyr Zhaparov, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The aid operation is being carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Caliber.Az reports.

The shipment includes 66 tons of food products and 63 tons of medicines. Supplies consist of flour, canned meat, vegetable oil, and essential medical items. The cargo has been loaded onto seven heavy-duty trucks operated by the emergency ministry and prepared for transport to Iran.

The assistance is intended to support civilians affected by the current situation.

The formal handover of the humanitarian cargo to the Iranian authorities will take place with the participation of Akylbek Kilychev, Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador to Iran.
