27 July 2022 10:23
Russia will provide Kyrgyzstan with a $ 10 million grant to support the country's budget.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev said that part of the money will arrive in the fall, TASS reports.
He did not name a specific amount.
Kulubaev said at a press conference that in the near future Kyrgyzstan will also receive emergency rescue and fire-fighting equipment worth $8 million from Russia. The Russian side has not yet commented on this information.
In June, it became known that Kyrgyzstan will receive a loan of $160 million from the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development. The main founder of the foundation is Russia. The money will be allocated in two equal tranches. The loan is granted for a period of 20 years.
