Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan reaffirm strategic alliance in high-level talks
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov in Cholpon-Ata for talks focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation across key sectors, including the economy, investment, and culture.
The two sides placed particular emphasis on collaborating on major infrastructure projects, including the Kambar-Ata-1 Hydroelectric Power Station and the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway, Caliber.Az reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
President Japarov noted that the official visit of the Uzbek Foreign Minister stands as further proof of the high level of strategic partnership and fraternal relations between the two countries.
Minister Saidov conveyed greetings and best wishes from Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and reaffirmed his commitment to fully implementing the priorities set by the two leaders.
In conclusion, President Japarov extended warm greetings to President Mirziyoyev and wished Minister Saidov great success in his important public service.
