Large fire breaks out at waste processing plant in Adana, Türkiye

A major fire erupted at a waste processing plant in the Küçükdikili district of Adana, Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports, citing TRT Haber.

The blaze reportedly started in the raw materials storage area, though the cause of the incident has not yet been determined.

Plant staff promptly alerted emergency services, and fire brigades from the municipal authorities were dispatched to the scene.

The flames are producing thick black smoke visible from various parts of the city centre.

Firefighting efforts are ongoing.
