Large-scale fire breaks out at building materials facility in Izmir PHOTO

A fire has broken out at a building materials warehouse located in the Bornova district of Türkiye's Izmir.

According to Turkish media, authorities dispatched multiple firefighting crews to the scene immediately after the blaze was reported.

Firefighters are actively working to contain and extinguish the fire.

Explosions have been intermittently heard from within the warehouse, complicating efforts to bring the fire under control.
