Lavrov says Azerbaijan ready to ensure rights of Karabakh Armenians

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that it is not in vain that the leadership of Armenia has recently been talking more about the rights of Armenians in Karabakh than about their status.

He said the Azerbaijani side is ready to ensure the rights of the Karabakh Armenians.

“The Azerbaijani side is ready for this. Azerbaijan is ready to discuss this, to provide guarantees to the Armenians in Karabakh in connection with the rights that other citizens of Azerbaijan have,” Lavrov said at a press conference on December 1, News.Ru reports.
