Magnitude 2.1 earthquake recorded near northern Armenia

A light earthquake with a magnitude of 2.1 struck northern Armenia on the morning of June 22.
The tremor was recorded at 09:03 local time, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of the city of Ijevan in the Tavush region, at a depth of about 10 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media.
Seismic intensity at the epicenter was measured at 2–3 on the Mercalli scale, indicating weak shaking.
The earthquake was reportedly felt in the nearby towns of Ijevan and Noemberyan, as well as in the villages of Kogb, Achajur, and Voskepar, where residents also reported light tremors.
