Magnitude 2.2 earthquake shakes Armenia–Azerbaijan border

On December 8, a magnitude 2.2 earthquake occurred near Jermuk, in the border area between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
According to the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry, the tremor was recorded at 14:35 local time, 13 kilometres northeast of Jermuk, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
The earthquake’s epicentre was at a depth of 10 kilometres, and the tremor was felt at intensity levels of 2–3 on the Richter scale.
