Magnitude 3.6 earthquake strikes Istanbul

A earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 was recorded off the coast of Silivri, near Istanbul, Türkiye, at 11:57 a.m. local time, according to data from the Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute.
The tremor’s epicenter was located in the Sea of Marmara, off Silivri, approximately 19.1 kilometers below the surface. Light shaking was reportedly felt in parts of Istanbul and surrounding areas, though there were no immediate reports of damage or injuries, Caliber.Az reports per Turkish media.
