Magnitude 4.0 earthquake hits Türkiye’s Aegean coast

A magnitude of 3.0 earthquake struck off the coast of Türkiye in the Aegean Sea, Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said.
According to AFAD’s official statement on the social network X, the tremor was recorded at 11:17 a.m. local time near the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale province, Caliber.Az reports.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 13.61 kilometres beneath the seabed.
