Magnitude 5.3 earthquake strikes central Türkiye

A magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck central Türkiye on Friday morning, March 13, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicentre of the tremor was located about 46 kilometres north of the city of Tokat, which has a population of roughly 129,000 residents, as per Azerbaijani media.
Seismologists reported that the earthquake originated at a depth of approximately 6 kilometres, making it a relatively shallow quake.
So far, no casualties or damage have been reported, according to the available information.
