Man arrested after fatally stabbing parents in Gyumri, Armenia

Armenian authorities have arrested a 37-year-old man after he allegedly killed his parents in their home in Gyumri.

The victims, 64-year-old Sayad A. and 63-year-old Nazeli A., died from multiple stab wounds. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia confirmed the incident, which was reported to emergency services by a relative around 10:10 a.m., after they were unable to reach the couple or gain entry to the house, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.

Rescuers arrived at the scene, opened the doors, and discovered the bodies. Investigators determined that the son was responsible for the killings. He has since been detained.
