Massive explosion occurres near Revolutionary Guard missile base in Iran

A strong explosion was heard last night in Khoramabad in western Iran.

Panic erupted in the city after the explosion, according to Tasnim.

The explosion was accompanied by strong tremors and shaking of the ground, so the city first thought of an earthquake. The local authorities immediately dispelled these fears, saying that, according to seismologists, nothing like that was expected, did not happen and is not expected. Nevertheless, the source of the explosion and tremors has not been officially found yet.

Official sources have not yet commented on this information.

The opposition website Iran International notes that a missile base of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is located in Khoramabad.
