Massive fire ravages shopping centre in Russia’s Novoshakhtinsk Video

A large shopping centre in the city of Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Region, has been engulfed in flames, according to Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).

The blaze has reportedly spread across an area of approximately 1,300 square metres, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

Emergency crews are on site working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.

Footage shared online shows thick smoke billowing from the complex as firefighters battle the flames.
