Media exposes relatives of Garegin II in Armenian dioceses
Over the years, Ktrich Nersisyan (Garegin II — ed.) has managed to spread his “tadpoles” throughout the church.
According to the Armenian outlet MediaNews, Ktrich Nersisyan has placed his relatives, friends, and associates in key positions across multiple dioceses, Caliber.Az reports.
“For those for whom it is no longer a secret, Ktrich Nersisyan has appointed his relatives, kin, friends, and fellow townsmen to positions in many dioceses.
It is widely known that one of his brothers, already exposed as a KGB agent, is the head of the Russian diocese, and his sister’s son serves as the prelate of the Aragatsotn Diocese,” the publication said.
Recently, it was revealed that Father Pogos, a fellow townsman of Nersisyan known for disruptive behaviour, was appointed to the Cathedral of Saint Gregory the Illuminator.
Medianews added that Father Pogos has been tasked with what the outlet describes as a “high” mission: obstructing liturgies at the cathedral. The report concludes by questioning who, in such circumstances, should be considered a traitor.
