Media: Iran on high alert amid reports of war preparations with US
Iran has reportedly begun preparations for war with the United States, with Tehran closing its airspace and placing its armed forces on the highest level of readiness.
The Iranian news agency Mehr, citing the country’s government, reported that the military is prepared for any developments.
Meanwhile, tensions between Tehran and Washington continue to escalate. The British newspaper Daily Express recently reported on speculation regarding the possible disappearance of Iran by September, citing a source in the US administration who warned that if Iran does not abandon its nuclear programme, it "will be dealt with."
Adding to the growing uncertainty, on March 30, US President Donald Trump issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening "unprecedented bombings" if no agreement is reached to prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.
