Media: Iran threatens strikes on US, Israeli energy assets

Iran has warned that it may target US and Israeli oil and gas facilities in the region if attacks on its energy infrastructure continue, Iran’s Fars News Agency said, citing an informed source.

The source said Iran’s armed forces are prepared to expand the scope of potential targets beyond direct military assets to include energy infrastructure linked to Israel, the United States, and their allies.

“If attacks on energy infrastructure continue, all oil and gas facilities linked to Israel, the United States, and their allies — including regional energy installations — will become targets for Iran’s armed forces,” the source said.

According to the report, the source further described as legitimate targets any oil and energy companies operating in the region that have American or Israeli shareholders.
