Media: Iranian intelligence detains dozens targeting national interests

Since the start of tensions with the United States and Israel, Iranian intelligence units have identified and detained 21 individuals acting against the country’s interests, Tasnim reports, citing the police commander of Qazvin.

According to authorities, the detainees were passing information and images of military personnel, police, and strategically important sites in the province to an “international terrorist network.” 

They reportedly used social media to collect and transmit data to the organisation’s media division.

Police emphasised that these actions posed a threat to national security and were prevented through careful surveillance and intelligence operations by the unit.
