Media: Khamenei expected to deliver address as his fate remains unclear

Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, is expected to deliver a public address shortly, according to Iran-based broadcaster Al-Alam TV.

The anticipated speech comes amid conflicting reports about Khamenei’s status following Israeli-US strikes.

Earlier, Israel’s Channel 12 cited unnamed Israeli sources as saying there were “growing indications” that Khamenei may have been killed in an Israeli strike earlier in the day. Israeli media described this as an assessment rather than a confirmed outcome.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi told NBC News in an interview that both Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian are alive.
