Media: Russia reports entry of unidentified aircraft from US

An unidentified aircraft believed to have departed from the United States has entered Russian airspace.

Telegram channel SHOT reported that the aircraft’s tail number and ownership details are not visible on the flight-tracking service FlightRadar, making it impossible to verify its operator independently.

According to the report, the plane took off several hours earlier from Joint Base Andrews, a US Air Force installation in Maryland frequently used for military and government flights. It then proceeded over Greenland, Norway and Finland before entering the airspace of Russia’s Murmansk region.

There has been no official confirmation from either Washington or Moscow regarding the flight. The identity of those on board remains unknown.
